Do I need insurance?

All groups are expected to have the appropriate insurance cover both cancellation insurance and insurance for any equipment that they bring to Poacher 2026, whether this is owned, borrowed or hired.  

Individual campers should understand that their personal equipment and other property is their own responsibility. Individuals should check their home insurance coverage. Poacher 2026 will not take any responsibility for lost items. Personal property is not covered by Girl Guiding UK or Scout Association insurance.  

All groups are advised to check that all members in their party are covered for personal accident, medical expenses, public and personal liability through their Association.
