How do supermarket deliveries work?

  • All shopping deliveries are to be directed to the main gate of the Showground using the following address:

  • Delivery will only be accepted onto site between the hours of 10am to 5pm from Sunday 2nd August to Friday 7th.
  • Deliveries will not be accepted on Saturday 1st August as the site will be too busy with arrivals so, please make sure to bring sufficient food with you for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.
  • Any deliveries attempted on Saturday 1st August will be turned away.
  • The deliveries will be held in a secured area in a designated marquee near the main gate ready for your collection.
  • As the designated marquee is outside the internal perimeter of the site those collecting the delivery will be required to sign out via the Admin Gate and then sign back in. As a result, only those aged 18 and over will be able to collect the deliveries.
  • If no one from the ordering unit is at the designated marquee to meet the delivery all substitutes on the order will be accepted.
  • No alcohol should be included in food deliveries to site – bags will be checked at random.
  • Please request delivery in bags in possible to make the onward process easier. Otherwise, the items will be loose. The delivery crates must be left at the designated marquee.
  • Please note there will be no refrigeration, and you must meet your delivery at the time you have booked.
  • Delivery vans will not be allowed to drive into site.
  • You can visit the local supermarkets in your own vehicles but will need to carry your shopping from the car park as cars will not be allowed to drive to the camping areas.
  • Some kind of cart or trolley is a great piece of kit to bring with you to enable the easy collection of your orders.
  • No onwards delivery will be provided by the staff in the designated marquee.
  • Our international team will help international staff and contingents with shopping trips to local supermarkets.
